Wickenburg Post Office Publication: Narrow Gauge & Short Line Gazette Publication Date: October 2009 BEST sells an HO scale, laser cut kit for Wickenburg, Arizona, Post Office. The kit includes laser-cut wood and an innovative plastic "stucco" material for the side and rear walls. The kit features tab-and-slot construction, and inner and outer walls for strength. Stripwood is provided along with tarpaper and corrugated roofing material. A helpful jig is included for setting the canopy roof in place. Plastic windows and doors, and a lovely Rex Flour decal for a wall sign are also in the kit. Since I am not sure how my Post Office will be placed on my future layout I left this sign off, and added the Mail Pouch and Post Office signs from my scrap box. I also substituted cast porch posts for the wood strips provided in the kit. One unique feature of the prototype building was a telephone pole piercing the canopy. I chose not to add this feature on my model. I found this kit to be well engineered and thought out, and assembling it presented no problems. Charlie Getz
